    CHARACTERISTICS:

    Height: 50cm-60cm

    Exposure: Full sun

    Harvest: July onwards

Garden Uses: Great for beds & borders; also good forplanting in greenhouse, glass house or home.

Benefits: Good source of vitamins. RHS Award of Garden Merit

    GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

    Sowing Outdoors - March-May

    Row width: 45cm

Sow seeds 3cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 45cm apart, with a space of 8cm between each seed. Keep the soil moist. The plants will need support as they grow - netting or canes are ideal. Pick the pods regularly to extend the harvest period. Peas prefer a rich, moist soil with plenty of dug in manure. Plant in a sheltered area and protect with cloches from late frosts. Use netting or blade cotton for protection against birds. Keep well watered. Ideal for successional sowing.
