The evoFeed has a built in rechargeable Lithium battery that can work for up to 3 months with just one overnight charge (indoor charger cable provided) This is dependant on the settings. The koi pond feeder has an intergrated strong motor with extra bottom ventilation over the impeller that prevents food from clogging up and ensures smooth feeds each time.
