The unit comes with two lockable stainless steel lids which has many benefits. Essentially, this commercial chest freezer is more energy efficient as less cold air escapes since you only need to open one lid. This is because the twin lids are only half the size of the container. It is also much better for avoiding injury and strains, and that includes on the ergonomic, robust handles too! A lighter lid with counterbalance mechanisms is much easier to lift, especially when it has to be done frequently. You also won’t have to struggle trying to keep them open whilst rummaging for goods. The lids can safely open at 45° and 90° positions, with self-closing till a 30° position for sealing.
